PROJECT ON AUTOMATED ATTENDANCE SYSTEM

Abstract:

‘AUTOMATED ATTENDANCE SYSTEM’ is designed to collect and manage student’s attendance records from RFID devices installed in a class rooms. Based on the verification of student identification at the entrances system, the RFID tag can be embedded in the ID card of the individual. First to activate a new session (hour) the teacher swipes her RFID tag this marks a new attendance session during which the students can swipe once to increment their attendance. The RFID module operate in 125Khz range, when a tag passes through its vicinity, the module senses its presence and extracts its unique serial number and passes this code into microcontroller which matches the code to the correct person and increments the attendance of the particular person.

Mini/Main Progect on Intelligent Energy Saving System


Abstract:
Intelligent Energy Saving System can be used in places like where lighting is very important. The libraries will be well illuminated with many lamps. When people are not present at a reading place the lighting can be made OFF and when they are present, the lighting made ON. All these can be done through by Dimming circuit and PIR sensor.

            If a person entering to the monitored area, the PIR sensors activates and sense the person, gives to the micro controller. The Infrared energy emitted from the living body is focused by a Fresnel lens segment. Then only the PIR sensor activates. After sensing the person   LDR checks the light intensity of the monitored area, whether it is bright or dark. Depending on the LDR output, the lamp may be ON / OFF by using Dimmer circuit.

             By using this system we can adjust the speed of Fan according to the room temperature measured by Thermostat, which is connected to the micro controller.

            To display the room temperature of PIR mode operation we are using the LCD display.


Mini/Main Project on Complete Home Security System

Abstract:
This is a digital home security system with voice feature which can monitor room temperature, smoke, motion, and windows & doors.

The goal of this project is to utilize the after-market parts and build an integrated home security system. Besides traditional magnetic switch equipped on doors and windows, we have also incorporated temperature sensor, smoke detectors, and motion sensor. Hence the security system will sound an alert when there is an attempt of break-in or if there is possible smoke or fire.

 The system is fully digital and also be fully customized. It incorporated a 16x2 LCD display with a 4x4 keypad. Each sensor can be enabled or disabled, and alarm frequency and skim can also be chosen by users. We have also equipped a voice playback chip, and it will speak which sensor has gone wrong.

Abstract:
Our project “railway track tracer” automatically traces the track discontinuity several kilometers ahead and alarms near by station and the Train about the track discontinuity.

In this project,  we use series of sensors which senses the continuity of the track by sensing the vibration in the track.

When a train passes its vibration in track it travels with very great velocity than the train velocity so that it can be detected several kilometers ahead before the train. we use a series of sensors which detect the vibrations from the track. The output of the sensors are fed to the switching and rectifying circuit which processes the sensed signal ready to feed for the microcontroller. The processed signals are first fed to the opto couplers, output of which is fed to the microcontroller. The microcontroller decides from the received signal about the track discontinuity, and when a discontinuity is found in the track.
